Tiles live in mud and bury themselves waiting to ambush prey in and around depths of 500-1000 feet. We fish for them with multi hook rigs and heavy lead weights and usually go electric on the reels (thus the asterisk for their fight rating). They are great to eat and weird to look at. Top 3 in the slimy category.
